predicting susceptibility to falls in older adults to prevent
unintentional falls. The
objective was to investigate the potential of using a new
technology that mimics conditions preceding an
unintentional fall to determine why some elders who do
well during clinical balance tests suffer
unintentional falls at home and in the environment, while
elders of the same age group do not.
